Multiplexer COD982

COD982RMS - Remultiplexer with a DVB scrambler and QPSK modulator

The DTVserver-remultiplexer COD982MSL is designed for selective demultiplexing of the channels with a subsequent multiplexing them into one transport stream, scrambling and modulation into QPSK.

  • Multiplexer
  • Inputs: 8x ASI (multiprogrammed)
  • Built-in EPG injector (24 hours/7 days)
  • DVB NIT support
  • H.264 SD/HD ready
  • Up to 24 channels are coded, 8 groups of coding (built-in CAS Crypton)
  • Multiplexing quality analyzer
  • Output: 1x ASI (Modes: «byte/packet», «188/204 byte»), 1-DVB-S in L-band (QPSK-modulated (950-1750 MHz or 1450-1950 MHz)
  • 1U

Features:

  • Eight ASI inputs. Each input is fed with a separate transport stream.
  • Multiplexing quality analyzer evaluates a proper generation of new transport stream
  • Service information editing
  • NIT/EPG support
  • DVB-compatible CAS Crypton scrambler. Up to 24 preliminary selected channels can be arranged into 8 encoding groups. Each group is given its independent scrambling key and the list of subscribers allowed to channels viewing.
  • Built-in DVB-S (QPSK) modulator. The device signal is fed to the external transmitter by DVB-S modulator with L-band output.
  • Digital ASI output. From device output the signal can be fed to the channel modulator supporting ASI interface.
  • Reliable software. The software package “Crypton Software Suite” enables to control and monitor the network device status condition.
