IPTV Videoserver (Crypton Catch-up TV Server) is a high-performance hardware and software complex. It is designed to organize Live IPTV services and Timeshift watching of television programs (Catch-up TV) in the networks of multiservice operators (MSO) and Internet service providers (ISP). Also, IPTV/OTT Server allows you to provide such services as VoD, TV on Demand, Pause Live TV.

The versatility of the Crypton OTT Head-End/OTT Central station solution makes it easy to scale it for various configurations of streaming services, such as a relatively simple relaying of DVB-over-IP Multicast SPTS streams with client access via Http (DVB-over-Http) in Live/TimeShift TV format, as well as for organizing a complex interactive infrastructure of Catch-up TV, DVB-I, On-Line TV portals.

You need an IPTV Media Server for interactive broadcasting if you already have a linear TV headend. In this case, it is enough to put an IPTV middleware Server from Crypton at the output as an IP streamer. Just one device and you can start broadcasting interactive television IPTV!

The device is used in conjunction with devices for capturing digital television programs broadcast from satellites, terrestrial, cable, or Internet networks.

  • User Web Interface provides a user interface for configuring all functional components
  • HLS Segmenter captures UDP IPTV streams and records them in a video archive with timestamps
  • TV Archive provides high-performance access to recorded television programs
  • EPG Processor allows you to download an electronic TV guide from the Internet and use it to set up recording in a TV archive and generate an interactive playlist
  • Media playlist Generator generates an interactive playlist for access to programs in the TV archive
  • Media Server provides multi-user access of network clients to the archive of television programs or live broadcasting
  • Http Server provides transport of video streams from the IPTV Video Server to the client device in TCP/IP networks of various topologies
