IP streamer Crypton — equipment designed to organize interactive TV, which is the number one component for IPTV or OTT television broadcasting. The principle of operation is as follows: the receiver accepts television content in DVB format from various sources. Usually the sources are signals from receiving antennas — satellite signals (modulation DVB-S, DVB-S2), terrestrial (DVB-T, DVB-T2), from cable — (модуляция DVB-C), unmodulated signal from the studio (ASI input). In an IP streamer, the signal is repackaged into a standard for transmission over the Internet and is sent to the network. Often the device performs additional processing of the television signal — descrambling.

Professional IPTV streamer Crypton can output signals in various formats. Multicast broadcasting — a form of broadcasting, when one source transmits video content to an unlimited number of subscribers without overloading the network. In this case, the signal is constantly present at the output of the streamer and can be used by everyone who has access to this address. In the case of individual streams (SPTS), the maximum number of programs for Crypton streamers is 64.
