Scrambler — is a device for scrambling (encrypting) digital video and audio streams at the headend of a digital television operator. Thanks to scrambling, the digital television stream is protected from unauthorized access. The use of a scrambler as part of the CAS Crypton Conditional Access System allows you to organize paid television broadcasting in satellite, terrestrial, cable and Internet networks.
Crypton scramblers use the Common Scrambling Algorithm (CSA) standardized by the DVB consortium, which allows the use of standardized subscriber devices. The DVB Simulcrypt protocol is also used, providing the transmission in one transport stream of several separate messages (ECM) that control access rights.
The scrambler performs DVB scrambling for both a TV channel and a separate elementary stream. Used to organize Pay TV
Crypton offers several basic models of devices for content protection and TV encryption, namely: 4-channel scramblers using DVB-over-IP technology, 4-channel scrambler with a built-in DVB-C modulator, 8-channel scramblers with a remultiplexer, 1-channel digital TV scramblers, as well as a Crypton CAS server for controlling equipment as part of a DVB headend. All equipment is in stock, and you can buy it with delivery in Ukraine and the world.
